Thomas Gontar has been practicing  as an artist blacksmith since 2013, working on a wide variety of projects including sculptural & architectural work and furniture design.

 

When Glynde Forge became available, he applied for the vacancy and moved in in May 2016.

 

Thomas employs time honoured techniques to produce high quality work that showcases the best of traditional craftsmanship and his own contemporary aesthetic.
